WISE Kid-Netic Energy
WISE Kid-Netic Energy is a non-profit organization that offers hands on, curriculum based science, engineering and technology deliverables for youth. There is a day camp that runs from August 12-16 in Steinbach. Registration is available on our website (WISE Kid-Netic Energy (wisekidneticenergy.ca)).

Prairie Slam Summer Basketball Camp
Prairie Slam is thrilled to announce our Summer Basketball Camp in Southern Manitoba, where young athletes can hone their basketball skills, make new friends, and have a blast on the court! Whether your child is a seasoned player or a beginner, our camp offers a supportive and engaging environment for all. We have two separate camps based on ages.
Important Information:
- Dates: Week 1: July 2 – July 5 & Week 2: July 8 – July 12
- Time: Starts at 9:00 am and concludes at 12:00 pm
- Location: Niverville Recreation Center
- Age Group: Week 1: 8-13 Week 2: 14-18
- Cost: Week 1: $200 Week 2: $225
What to Expect:
- Skill Development: Our experienced coaches will focus on fundamental skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense.
- Teamwork: Campers will participate in team drills, learn about strategy, and build camaraderie.
- Fun Activities: Beyond basketball, we’ll have fun games, contests, and challenges.
- Guest Speakers & Guest Coaches: Inspirational talks and coaching from Active & Previous Canadian University players and coaches.
