MYRCA: Reading Books, Voting for Favourites, Meeting Authors

The students involved in the MYRCA club (Manitoba Young Readers Choice Awards) last  school year were given the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony in Winnipeg at the MET on October 22, 2015. Learning in the Outdoors

On Tuesday, September 29th the Grade 6 students at CMS ventured out to Tourond Creek Discovery Centre for some outdoor learning. The students rotated around various stations at the centre, including critter dipping, constructing a pathway, making art from nature, a scavenger hunt, and several other activities.
